Children’s Social Worker – Advanced Practitioner (MASH) – Luton

About the role

The MASH (Multi‑Agency Safeguarding Hub) team in Luton is seeking experienced Children’s Social Workers to join as Advanced Practitioners. You will work on complex safeguarding cases, collaborating with health, police and education partners to protect vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and investigate safeguarding concerns involving children and families.
• Develop and review child‑centred care and protection plans.
• Coordinate multi‑agency information sharing within the MASH framework.
• Provide expert advice and support to partner agencies.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce statutory reports.

Required profile

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration.
• Proven experience in children’s social work, preferably within a MASH or similar multi‑agency setting.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice.
• Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions.
