Cloud Native Software Developer - eDV Cleared

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Native Software Developer with an active eDV clearance to join a leading technology consultancy delivering mission‑critical programmes for the UK National Security sector. The role is based in London with a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy secure cloud‑native applications for highly classified government customers.
• Work within Agile engineering teams across the full software lifecycle.
• Shape technical solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience and security.
• Utilise modern cloud platforms, containerisation and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.

Required profile

• Active eDV clearance.
• Strong commercial software engineering experience.
• Proven experience building cloud‑native applications on AWS and/or Azure.
• Solid knowledge of Java, Python, Go or similar languages.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker and micro‑service architectures.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Understanding of distributed systems and modern software architecture.
