Commercial Account Handler – Birmingham

About the role

Join a fast‑growing UK broker network that is heavily investing in its Commercial Insurance division. The team is expanding and seeks motivated professionals to manage broker presentations, quotations and client relationships within the Birmingham market.

Key responsibilities

• Administer broker presentations and ensure timely auctioning.
• Deliver accurate quotations via the broking desk with all required information.
• Interpret broker needs, propose solutions and liaise with underwriters and insurers.
• Record all broking desk placements correctly.
• Prepare management information as required.
• Support the Commercial Desk Team with mid‑term adjustments and quote auctions.

Required profile

• Insurance experience preferred, but not essential.
• Working towards or holding a CII certification.
• Strong communication skills (telephone, verbal and written).
• Ability to organise own workload and build rapport with clients and underwriters.

Required skills

• Experience with the Acturis insurance platform.
