Commercial Account Handler – Insurance

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join our Birmingham insurance team. You will manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism and consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop relationships with commercial insurance clients.
• Process renewals, mid‑term adjustments and day‑to‑day queries.
• Liaise with insurers to secure appropriate terms and placements.
• Collaborate closely with Account Executives to deliver seamless service.
• Ensure all documentation and compliance records are accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Act as a reliable point of contact throughout the insurance process.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler within the insurance sector.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and insurers.
• Organised, capable of handling a steady workload without micromanagement.
• Professional, consistent approach to client service.
