About the role

The Commercial Brokering Director will lead the acquisition and management of new business across the Midlands, working closely with clients to secure appropriate funding solutions. You will act as the primary liaison between prospects, funders, and internal teams, ensuring smooth transaction delivery and long‑term client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new business opportunities within the designated region.
• Manage the end‑to‑end transition of prospects to funded clients, overseeing facility performance.
• Negotiate and mediate with funders on behalf of clients, providing alternative solutions when needed.
• Present the company at networking events, seminars, and to senior partners to enhance brand visibility.
• Collaborate with directors to shape strategic growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven ability to quickly understand a prospect’s business and funding needs.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in debt structuring and financial statement analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Track record of meeting sales targets in a financial services environment.
