Commercial Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Data Analyst to join a fast‑growing luxury fashion and e‑commerce group. The role sits at the intersection of commercial leadership and technology, turning rich behavioural data into insights that directly influence growth decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own analysis of customer, membership, trading and operational performance.
• Use SQL to interrogate data across multiple systems and datasets.
• Translate broad commercial questions into clear, actionable analysis.
• Identify trends, opportunities and areas for deeper investigation.
• Build reporting dashboards with Tableau, Power BI, Looker or similar tools.
• Present findings to commercial and senior stakeholders in an understandable way.
• Help define and measure KPIs as the business scales.
• Collaborate between Commercial and Technology teams and support data‑quality initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong SQL skills and the ability to work independently with data.
• Experience working with a data warehouse.
• Proficiency with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker.
• Demonstrated reporting and trend‑analysis capability.
• Ability to explain data clearly to non‑technical and senior audiences.
• Commercial curiosity and confidence to look beyond the original question.
• Background in e‑commerce, subscription, membership or marketplace environments is a plus.
