About the role

We are a leading international law firm seeking a Commercial Insurance Associate to join our nationally‑recognised Property & Liability team in Manchester. The role involves handling complex insurance litigation on behalf of major insurers and corporate clients, offering a blend of challenging legal work and client interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of property damage, construction and liability insurance disputes.
• Conduct detailed legal research and draft pleadings, statements of case and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings.
• Collaborate closely with senior partners and other team members to develop case strategies.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with experience in insurance litigation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle property damage, construction or liability claims.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to case management.
• Willingness to develop specialist knowledge in insurance coverage.
