Commercial Litigation Solicitor – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a leading commercial law firm’s Dispute Resolution team in Manchester. You will work alongside recognised experts, advising a diverse client base on complex commercial disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle contract disputes, shareholder, partnership and director disputes.
• Manage professional negligence, commercial fraud and insolvency‑related claims.
• Seek injunctive relief and conduct High Court litigation.
• Participate in alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
• Deal with multi‑party and cross‑border disputes.
• Maintain your own caseload while supporting larger, complex matters.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years post‑qualification experience in commercial litigation.
• Experience in a recognised regional or national law firm.
• Strong technical ability and commercial awareness.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
• Confidence managing an independent caseload with appropriate supervision.
• Proactive approach to client relationships and business development.
