Commercial Property Claims Technician – Birmingham (Hybrid)

About the role

This position is for a Desktop Commercial Property Adjuster who will join an existing team handling commercial material damage and business interruption losses. The role is hybrid, requiring attendance at the client’s office 1–2 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial property claims from initial assessment through settlement.
• Produce detailed reports for each site visit and maintain a full diary of activities.
• Deliver service within client SLAs and meet stringent audit criteria.
• Write comprehensive reports and settlement recommendations for insurers.
• Liaise with insurers, policyholders, contractors and other stakeholders to progress claims efficiently.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a commercial property adjuster handling material damage and business interruption claims.
• Strong written communication skills for detailed reporting.
• Ability to manage caseloads effectively and meet deadlines.
• Proactive approach to claim settlement and stakeholder coordination.
