About the role
We are seeking a Desktop Commercial Property Adjuster to join our Birmingham team. The role involves handling a portfolio of commercial material damage and business interruption claims through to settlement, with a hybrid working pattern.
Key responsibilities
- Handle a portfolio of Commercial Material Damage and Business Interruption losses from initial assessment through settlement.
- Produce full and detailed reports for each site visit, including recommendations for settlement.
- Maintain a comprehensive diary of claim activities and ensure accurate documentation of all interactions.
- Manage caseload to deliver service within client SLAs and meet challenging audit criteria.
- Liaise proactively with insurers, policyholders, contractors and other parties to facilitate claim resolution.
- Write detailed insurer reports that include settlement recommendations and supporting evidence.
- Work on-site at the client’s offices 1–2 days per week as part of a hybrid working arrangement.
