Commercial Property Solicitor (1-5 PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor to join a leading Legal 500‑ranked law firm’s Real Estate team in Birmingham. The role offers exposure to high‑value transactions and the chance to build strong client relationships within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage commercial property transactions from instruction to completion.
• Advise on acquisitions, disposals, and development investments.
• Handle landlord and tenant matters, including leases, renewals, assignments and licences.
• Support corporate colleagues on property aspects of business acquisitions and disposals.
• Conduct due diligence, title investigations and draft/negotiate commercial property documents.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales.
• Experience handling a broad range of commercial property matters.
• Strong technical and drafting abilities.
• Commercial awareness and pragmatic client advice.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and desire to grow the department.
