Commercial Solicitor (Consultant) – Flexible Remote

About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced Commercial Solicitors to join its national consultancy model as self‑employed consultants. The role offers full flexibility to work remotely or from office while managing a high‑value commercial caseload for professional and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist commercial legal advice and representation to businesses and professionals.
• Manage and develop a personal client portfolio, aiming for a minimum billing target of £100,000 per annum.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, agreements and dispute resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards, including Lexcel requirements.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin and accounts teams to maintain seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience in commercial law.
• Proven ability to manage an independent caseload and generate significant revenue.
• Existing client base or the capacity to build one quickly.
• Strong commitment to high‑quality client care and ethical practice.
