Corporate Partner – Corporate Law – West Midlands

About the role

We are seeking an experienced corporate lawyer to join our highly regarded Corporate department as a Partner. The role offers immediate client contact with a city‑focused client base and the chance to work alongside an existing Director before taking full leadership of the team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Corporate practice, overseeing a team of fee earners.
• Manage and execute corporate transactions, commercial contracts, joint venture agreements, and restructuring work.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key corporate clients.
• Participate in business development and departmental growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 10+ years post‑qualification experience (Partner, Legal Director or Senior Associate level).
• Proven track record in corporate law across multiple sectors.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and junior staff.

Required skills

• Expertise in corporate transactions, commercial contracts, MBO/MBI, joint ventures and restructuring.
