Corporate Solicitor – 10+ PQE – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Solicitor to join a leading international law firm in Manchester. This senior, strategic appointment offers a platform to further develop your practice within a collaborative, growth‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, disposals, private equity transactions, investments, shareholder arrangements, reorganisations and general corporate advisory work.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across multiple practice areas to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive business development activity, strengthen existing client relationships and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Play a key role in shaping the future direction of the corporate practice and influencing firm strategy.

Required profile

• Current Corporate Partner with an established client following and strong market reputation.
• Extensive experience advising on M&A and complex corporate transactions.
• Proven business development record and strong relationships within the regional or national corporate market.
• Excellent commercial awareness, client management skills and leadership experience.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ambition to contribute to the firm’s continued success.
