Cover Supervisor – Flexible Agency Role in London

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis across local secondary schools in Dulwich. You will step in during short‑term teacher absences, keeping lessons on track and ensuring pupils complete set work.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise whole classes across a variety of subjects.
• Maintain classroom behaviour in line with each school’s policies.
• Ensure students complete the work assigned by the regular teacher.
• Create a safe, positive and productive learning environment.
• Report student progress and any behavioural issues back to teaching staff.

Required profile

• Experience working with young people (desirable but not mandatory).
• Excellent communication and classroom management abilities.
• Professional, confident and adaptable attitude.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
