Customer Service Advisor – Private Medical

About the role
Join a leading patient‑care organisation as a Customer Service Advisor in Manchester. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing support, information and appointment coordination in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Answer incoming patient calls professionally and empathetically.
- Provide clear, accurate information and support to callers, handling sensitive situations with discretion.
- Book, amend and cancel patient appointments, prioritising urgent cases and maintaining detailed records.
- Ensure strict compliance with GDPR and data‑protection policies, safeguarding patient confidentiality.
Required profile
- Previous experience in call handling or customer service, preferably within a healthcare setting.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while multitasking.
- Strong ICT aptitude and experience entering data accurately.
- Demonstrated empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
