Customer Service Assistant – Retail Store

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our One Stop store. You will work in a fast‑paced retail environment, delivering friendly service, handling transactions and helping keep the store tidy and well‑stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and encourage feedback through surveys.
• Operate tills, process payments and assist with self‑service checkout issues.
• Stock shelves, replenish inventory and maintain a clean, organised store layout.
• Support online order fulfilment and vending operations.
• Follow health, safety and security procedures, including age‑restricted product policies.
• Assist with post‑office duties where applicable, subject to background checks.
• Cover shift responsibilities in the absence of the Shift Leader or Store Manager.

• Willing to work across all store areas and adapt to changing tasks.
• Commitment to safety, store policies and community values.
• Reliability in clocking in/out and accurate attendance recording.
