Data Analyst – Manchester (On‑site, £45k‑£50k)

About the role

Loop Recruitment is seeking a Data Analyst to join its Manchester office on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The role sits within the analytics team and supports the company’s recruitment and staffing services by turning data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate data‑analytics operations, maintain systems and ensure efficient workflow.
• Analyse recruitment data, calculate statistics and develop insights to support decision‑making.
• Track and report on recruitment metrics, performance and hiring pipeline stages.
• Monitor candidate and applicant flow, identify trends and provide recommendations.
• Evaluate recruitment funnels, conversion rates and drop‑off points to optimise processes.
• Measure time‑to‑hire and other speed metrics, highlighting opportunities for improvement.
• Analyse employee placement outcomes, identify patterns and report on placement success.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis and analytics, preferably within recruitment or HR.
• Strong understanding of recruitment metrics and performance indicators.
• Ability to manage analytics functions, ensure data quality and support strategic decisions.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and spreadsheet proficiency.
• SQL or other database query capabilities.
• Data extraction and data organisation techniques.
