Data Migration Business Analyst (Pensions) – Contract

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Data Migration Business Analyst to join a pensions data migration project. You will work closely with IT and Pension Administration teams to ensure high‑quality data moves from a legacy platform to a new strategic system.
Key responsibilities
- Review data extracts from legacy systems and document data quality issues.
- Analyse anomalies such as invalid National Insurance numbers, incorrect field values and missing information.
- Collaborate with the IT Development Manager to identify gaps between legacy and target systems.
- Engage with Pension Administration teams to understand business context and support remediation.
- Document findings, recommendations and assist in improving data quality before loading into the target platform.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst on data migration or transformation projects.
- Strong data analysis and data quality assessment abilities.
- Proven capability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills.
