Defendant EL/PL Solicitor – Manchester (Hybrid)

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking a qualified solicitor to join its growing insurance litigation team in Manchester. The role focuses on defending employer and public liability claims, particularly those involving stress, bullying, harassment and abuse, and offers the chance to work on high‑profile, technically demanding cases.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of complex employer and public liability claims.
• Specialise in stress‑at‑work, bullying, harassment and abuse matters.
• Represent blue‑light organisations, public sector bodies and major insurer clients.
• Handle technically challenging and often sensitive litigation alongside recognised experts.
• Contribute to the development of the team’s national reputation.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a strong background in defendant EL/PL litigation.
• Proven experience handling complex or high‑value liability claims, ideally including stress, harassment, abuse or public sector matters.
• Experience acting for emergency services or blue‑light clients is advantageous.
