About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Edinburgh City Community Dietetic Team as a Dietetic Support Worker. You will work alongside registered dietitians who will delegate tasks, provide training and supervision, and support the delivery of patient‑centred nutrition care.
Key responsibilities
- Review patients in their own homes and run virtual clinics, focusing on individuals experiencing malnutrition.
- Schedule appointments, answer telephone enquiries and manage supply orders using the PECOS ordering system.
- Update electronic patient records, including the TRAK system, to ensure accurate documentation of care.
Required profile
- Current membership of the PVG Scheme (child and/or adult) or willingness to obtain it and pass Disclosure Scotland checks.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Availability for part‑time work as the role is pro‑rated.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the PECOS ordering system for supplies.
- Experience using electronic patient record systems such as TRAK.
