Distribution Manager

About the role

The Distribution Manager will oversee the end‑to‑end distribution of music releases to digital service providers (DSPs), ensuring high‑quality metadata and delivery standards across AEI’s catalogue.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day distribution of all releases to DSPs, entering and verifying metadata, delivery settings and asset updates.
• Pitch new music to DSP partners such as Spotify, Apple Music, Beatport, Amazon and Deezer, including overseeing ad‑credit pitches.
• Monitor YouTube, Facebook and TikTok tier performance and audit releases and DSP profiles.
• Oversee rights ownership, neighbouring rights and resolve conflicts on all DSP platforms.
• Set up new rightsholders on AEI’s platform, ensure label and artist profiles are correctly configured and support labels with quality metadata and assets.

Required profile

• Highly organised, process‑driven and detail‑oriented with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of the music industry, digital distribution supply chain, licences and the overall distribution landscape.
• Clear understanding of DSP markets, territories and effective communication with partners.
• Familiarity with the electronic music scene and AEI’s label brands.
