About the role
We are partnering with secondary schools across Birmingham and Solihull to place Early Career Teachers (ECTs) starting in September 2026. This role offers a pathway to gain classroom experience, complete your induction and develop a lasting teaching career.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with senior staff to align teaching with curriculum standards.
- Participate in professional development and induction activities.
Required profile
- Completed teacher training or final year of training, ready to start in September 2026.
- Passion for delivering high‑quality education to secondary students.
- Strong communication and classroom management abilities.
- Professional and reliable approach to teaching duties.
Required skills
- Subject‑specific knowledge in the assigned teaching area (e.g., English, Maths, Science, Computer Science, etc.).
What we offer
- Daily rate of £150‑£190, paid weekly.
