Early Career Teacher – Primary Schools (Sept 2026)

About the role

We are recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) for primary schools across Staffordshire and Cheshire East, starting in September 2026. The positions offer long‑term, fixed‑term or day‑to‑day supply placements in EYFS, Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and mixed‑age classes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for early years and primary pupils.
• Manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive learning environment.
• Collaborate with mentors and senior staff to meet induction requirements.
• Provide day‑to‑day supply teaching when needed.
• Participate in staff meetings, assessments and parent communication.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• ECT, recently qualified teacher or teacher completing induction.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering training placements or recent employment.
• Genuine passion for teaching and supporting children’s learning.
