Electrical Shift Engineer

About the role

We are partnering with a leading facilities management provider to recruit an Electrical Shift Engineer for flagship office buildings in East London. The role is permanent, based on‑site, and follows a continental shift pattern (four days on, four days off) covering both day and night periods.

Key responsibilities

• Testing and maintaining emergency lighting systems.
• Conducting fire alarm inspections.
• Servicing UPS units and circuit breakers.
• Maintaining chillers, heat exchangers, calorifiers and boilers.
• Checking and servicing AHUs/FCUs.
• Inspecting distribution boards and transformers.
• Performing generator testing and electrical fault finding.

Required profile

• C&G / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installations (or equivalent) 18th Edition.
• Proven experience in building services maintenance, preferably within a commercial office environment.
