Employed Independent Financial Advisor – Remote (Midlands)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Independent Financial Advisor to join a client‑centric firm on a fully remote basis. The successful candidate will inherit an established client bank in the Solihull area and focus on delivering high‑quality financial advice without the need for cold prospecting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop an existing portfolio of high‑net‑worth clients.
• Provide holistic financial planning covering pensions, investments, protection and retirement strategies.
• Conduct annual reviews, identify new planning opportunities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain and deepen long‑term trusted relationships with clients.

Required profile

• Minimum Level 4 Diploma qualification (e.g., AAT, Level 4 Financial Planning).
• CAS status and proven experience managing a client bank.
• Strong relationship‑building and client‑focused approach.
• Professional, ethical and comfortable working independently from home.
• Chartered status (or working towards it) is advantageous but not essential.

Required skills

• Financial planning and advice across pensions, investments, protection and retirement.
• Compliance and regulatory knowledge relevant to UK financial services.
