Employee Benefits Consultant – SME Advisory

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Consultant to join our specialist team and advise SME clients on group risk, healthcare and wider benefits. You will act as the trusted adviser for a portfolio of clients, supporting retention and new business growth in a dynamic, client‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for SME queries and benefits advice.
• Manage group risk and healthcare policies, including renewals, reviews, claims and underwriting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects and insurers.
• Partner with operations to ensure smooth consultancy and administration.
• Provide technical guidance across your portfolio and the wider benefits offering.
• Identify cross‑sell and upsell opportunities and support new business development.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of healthcare or both group risk and healthcare policies.
• Ideally 3+ years experience advising clients on group risk/healthcare schemes.
• Organised, proactive and able to manage a busy portfolio.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £40,000 and £50,000 per year.
• Hybrid working – remote based in the South of England with one office day per month.
