Employment Partner – Lead Warwickshire Practice

About the role

The firm is expanding its Midlands footprint and seeks an Employment Partner to head the Warwickshire practice. You will inherit an established client base and a national support team while enjoying full autonomy to shape the local offering.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the employment law practice within the Warwickshire office.
• Advise on complex contentious and non‑contentious matters, including high‑value tribunal work.
• Provide strategic HR and senior‑level advisory support to a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Drive business development and build long‑term client and intermediary relationships across the Midlands.
• Mentor junior lawyers and raise the team’s technical and commercial standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm’s wider practice areas.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with substantial senior‑level employment law experience.
• Predominantly respondent‑side background, though mixed experience is welcomed.
• Strong technical ability in both contentious and advisory work.
• Commercially minded with appetite for business development and practice growth.
• Leadership presence to drive a regional team with confidence and credibility.
• Collaborative, ambitious and client‑focused mindset.
