Employment Solicitor (5+ PQE) – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our Birmingham team. You will work alongside a Legal 500‑recognised Partner, advising employer clients on a wide range of contentious and non‑contentious employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on restructures, redundancies, TUPE, disciplinary and grievance procedures, absence management and settlement agreements.
• Lead Employment Tribunal litigation and support clients through complex workplace issues.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key employer clients.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to business development and networking activities.

Required profile

• Minimum five years post‑qualification experience (5+ PQE) in a reputable employment practice.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK employment law and excellent commercial awareness.
• Proven ability to manage an independent caseload while supporting and developing colleagues.
• Demonstrated experience acting for employer clients.
