Employment Solicitor – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our rapidly expanding team in Manchester. The role involves managing a senior caseload across both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters, with opportunities for mentorship and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Handle high‑value tribunal claims including whistleblowing, discrimination and unfair dismissal.
• Advise on senior executive appointments, exits, restrictive covenants, restructures, redundancies and TUPE.
• Provide pragmatic commercial advice on a varied employment caseload.
• Mentor and supervise junior team members.
• Contribute to business development and practice growth.

Required profile

• 5–7 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.
• Proven ability to manage an individual employment caseload and draft legal documents.
• Experience supervising less‑experienced colleagues and delegating work.
• Strong appetite for client development; advocacy experience is a plus.
