Employment Solicitor (NQ+) – Greater Manchester

About the role

We are seeking a newly qualified or recently qualified Employment Solicitor to join our growing employment team in Greater Manchester. You will manage a varied caseload, providing practical, commercially‑focused advice to both businesses and individuals across a range of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on contentious and non‑contentious employment matters, including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and TUPE issues.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies and procedures.
• Assist clients with Employment Tribunal claims and related proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to deliver seamless client service.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive, high‑quality legal advice.

Required profile

• Newly qualified (NQ) or above with experience in employment law.
• Proven ability to handle both contentious and non‑contentious matters.
• Strong technical knowledge of employment legislation combined with commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication, client‑care and organisational skills.
• Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
