Employment Solicitor – NQ to 4 PQE – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded employment team in Manchester. The role offers a mix of contentious and non‑contentious work, allowing you to develop expertise across tribunal litigation, HR advice and complex restructures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage employment tribunal litigation and represent clients in hearings.
• Provide advice on HR matters, redundancies, TUPE and large‑scale restructures.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies and settlement agreements.
• Support clients through sensitive workplace investigations.
• Collaborate with senior team members to deliver practical, client‑focused solutions.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor up to 4 years post‑qualification (NQ‑4 PQE).
• Strong interest in employment law with relevant experience during or after training.
• Confident client interaction and ability to convey complex advice clearly.
• Excellent drafting ability, attention to detail and effective priority management.
• Team‑oriented mindset and willingness to support colleagues.
