English Teacher – International Assignment in Uzbekistan

About the role

Join a government‑backed national education reform in Uzbekistan as an English Teacher for secondary students (Grades 9‑11). You will work in historic cities such as Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, delivering high‑impact lessons and supporting local faculty.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 20 contact hours of English instruction per week to secondary students.
• Lead two weekly seminars to up‑skill local teachers.
• Facilitate six hours of extracurricular immersion activities.
• Collaborate with the Ministry of Preschool and School Education on curriculum development.

Required profile

• Native‑level English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in TESOL, Linguistics, Education, or any field plus CELTA/TEFL/TESOL certification.
• Proven experience teaching English at the secondary/high‑school level.
• Enthusiastic about cultural immersion and long‑term professional development.
