EU Sales Team Manager – French Market

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic EU Sales Team Manager to lead our French sales team at ESL, a fast‑growing provider of electrical components based in Manchester. The role combines leading a high‑performing sales community with personal account management to drive revenue and market presence across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a French‑speaking sales team through regular 1:1s, performance reviews and tailored development plans.
• Set clear activity, behaviour and result expectations, ensuring accountability and a culture of collaboration.
• Oversee daily sales activities – prospecting, pipeline management, territory planning and qualification – while enforcing CRM discipline and accurate data entry.
• Review and challenge pipeline quality, deal progression and forecast accuracy, identifying areas for improvement.
• Recruit, onboard and retain top sales talent to support growth.
• Manage a personal portfolio of customer accounts and consistently achieve individual sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales teams in a B2B environment, preferably within the electrical components or industrial supply sector.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue, margin and KPI targets.
• Excellent communication and coaching skills, fluent in French and English.
• Data‑driven decision‑making mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM systems and pipeline management.
