Experienced Family Law Fee Earner – Manchester

About the role

This position is for an experienced Family Law Fee Earner to join a brand‑new Family Law department in Manchester. You will work on privately funded, high‑value divorce and financial remedy matters from a modern office in Spinningfields.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, separation and financial remedy proceedings.
• Draft and negotiate pre‑nuptial, post‑nuptial and cohabitation agreements.
• Handle high‑value financial settlements involving assets, businesses, pensions and complex arrangements.
• Conduct client meetings, provide relationship management and business development.
• Prepare court applications and, where appropriate, conduct advocacy.
• Support private children matters and related disputes.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience handling privately funded family law cases.
• Qualified solicitor, chartered legal executive or fee earner with a focus on divorce and financial remedy work.
• Strong client‑facing skills and ability to develop a network.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, complex legal solutions.
