External Sales Manager – Plumbing & Heating Products

About the role
The External Sales Manager will be based in Birmingham and will sell a comprehensive range of thermal vessels, water‑treatment solutions and smart taps to independent plumbing and heating merchants, buying groups and contractors across the UK. The role involves national travel and requires a strong field‑sales background with a proven ability to manage turnover of £500k‑£1m.
Key responsibilities
- Sell thermal vessels, water‑treatment products and smart taps to independent plumbing & heating merchants, buying groups and installers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with M&E consultants, contractors and buying groups nationwide.
- Achieve sales targets and manage a turnover portfolio of approximately £500k‑£1m.
- Travel nationally, based near a major conurbation, and represent the company at trade events.
Required profile
- Proven field‑sales experience selling to independent plumbing & heating merchants.
- Ability to hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
- Tenacious, hungry, enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
- IT literate and comfortable using sales‑related software.
