Family Solicitor (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Family Law Solicitor to join our growing team in Manchester. The role is hybrid, with one day per week in the office and the remainder remote, working 37.5 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a mixed caseload of privately funded family law matters, from initial intake to resolution.
• Negotiate actively to achieve the best outcomes for clients.
• Record and manage case information accurately using our case management system.
• Meet individual and team chargeable time and profit targets.
• Draft and audit legal documents and correspondence.
• For senior or lead solicitors, provide line‑management, delegate work, act as subject‑matter expert and contribute to departmental strategy and marketing.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor or CILEX qualified with experience in privately funded family law cases.
• Proven track record of meeting chargeable and billing targets.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and resilience.
• Excellent relationship‑building and client‑service skills.
