Family Support Worker

About the role

Dudley Lodge is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Family Support Workers. You will work directly with children and families, providing day‑to‑day assistance and helping them navigate challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with families on a daily basis to assess needs and deliver appropriate support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for children and young people.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and progress.
• Participate in regular training and professional development sessions.
• Support families during night shifts when required, receiving an additional allowance.

Required profile

• No prior experience required – enthusiasm to work in social care is essential.
• Willingness to undertake the NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce.
• Commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
• Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including night shifts.

Required skills

• NVQ Level 3 (Children and Young People’s Workforce) – where applicable.
