Fashion Designer – Brand (Manchester)

About the role

We are seeking a creative and commercially‑aware Fashion Designer to join our client’s design team in Manchester. You will work across multiple product categories, translating brand vision into collections that meet customer needs and drive commercial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop products across several categories.
• Research trends, colours, fabrics and customer insights.
• Create seasonal mood boards, CADs and technical design packs.
• Collaborate with Buying, Garment Technology and Production throughout development.
• Attend fit sessions and support product development.
• Liaise with suppliers on product design and development.
• Deliver designs within agreed timelines.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a fashion design role.
• Strong creative and commercial awareness.
• Excellent knowledge of garment construction and product development.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with excellent communication skills.
• Passionate about fashion with a proactive, positive attitude.
