Female Care Assistants – Drivers & Walkers – South Manchester

About the role

Be Caring is looking for caring, reliable women to join our South Manchester team as Care Assistants. You will support clients in their own homes, either driving to appointments or walking with them, across areas such as Sharston, Baguley, Wythenshawe and Didsbury.

• Support people to achieve personal outcomes, working with families and professionals.
• Provide dignified personal care that respects privacy and choice.
• Promote independence and confidence using enabling approaches.
• Deliver personalised care based on individual needs, choices and preferences.
• Communicate clearly, recording and sharing information with the right people at the right time.
• Help people stay connected to their community and access local services.

Required profile

• Previous informal caring experience (e.g., caring for family or friends).
• Kind, reliable and motivated to make a real difference.
• Female applicants only, in line with the Equality Act 2010.

What we offer

• Shift pay – £13.30 / hr for drivers, £12.75 / hr for walkers.
• Mileage reimbursement – 50p per mile (drivers) or 20p per mile (cyclists).
• Full‑time hours with weekend availability required.
• Paid induction training (1 week classroom, 2 days shadowing, online modules).
• Fully funded DBS check and funded Level 2/other accredited courses.
