Field Service Engineer – Electrical (Weighing Equipment)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Engineer to join our Field Service team in Manchester. You will work autonomously, travelling to client sites across the UK to service, install, calibrate and maintain a range of weighing equipment for blue‑chip customers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, installation and calibration of weighing equipment.
• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Travel to client locations within a 2.5‑hour radius from your home base.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to health, safety and quality standards on all site visits.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship‑trained Electrical Engineer (or equivalent qualification).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience using multimeters or similar test equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage own schedule.
• Available Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑16:30.
