Field Service Engineer – Pharmaceutical Clean Room Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to support a leading manufacturer of specialist pharmaceutical clean‑air equipment. The role involves installing, servicing, maintaining and validating equipment in hospitals and clean‑room environments across the UK. You will receive full product training and ongoing technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine validation services on pharmaceutical systems (full training provided).
• Respond to breakdown calls, perform fault diagnosis and repair equipment on site.
• Install and commission new equipment at customer locations.

Required profile

• Experience working within hospital or clean‑room environments.
• Comfortable managing a field‑based schedule and working from home when required.
• Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home as needed.
• Flexible approach to working hours to meet customer requirements.

Required skills

• Equipment validation procedures.
• Fault diagnosis and repair of clean‑room and medical equipment.
• Installation and commissioning of specialised pharmaceutical systems.

What we offer

• Salary £43,000‑£50,000 per year plus bonus and overtime.
