Finance Business Partner – FP&A (Qualified Accountant)

About the role

Join a leading national law firm as a Finance Business Partner within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. You will work closely with senior leaders across Business Services, providing commercial insight, financial challenge and strategic support to influence key decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting for Business Services functions.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, producing insightful management information and KPIs.
• Develop robust financial models, investment appraisals and scenario plans to support strategic decisions.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, and provide commercial challenge to senior stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting processes, planning capability and financial systems.
• Mentor junior members of the FP&A team.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong FP&A or finance business partnering experience.
• Excellent analytical and financial modelling abilities.
• Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and commercially.
• Confident relationship builder comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience in a professional services or similarly complex, multi‑stakeholder environment is advantageous.
