Finance Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a commercially‑minded Finance Business Partner to join our fast‑paced distribution business in Birmingham. In this key position you will work closely with operational teams and senior management, turning financial data into actionable insight that drives strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial performance and identify opportunities for growth or cost savings.
• Provide insight, challenge and support to operational teams and senior leaders.
• Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Build strong relationships across departments and influence commercial strategy.
• Present financial findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Strong commercial acumen and analytical ability.
• Proven ability to communicate financial information to non‑finance audiences.
• Experience in distribution, logistics or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
• Proactive, adaptable and confident in building cross‑functional relationships.
