About the role

Premier Work Support is partnering with a prestigious client in Basildon to hire a permanent Finance Manager. You will lead the finance team while shaping a forward‑thinking operating model that drives business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse operational and financial performance trends to inform strategy.
• Challenge existing processes, identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
• Lead new initiatives, using data‑driven insights to support decision‑making and prioritisation.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards and performance metrics.
• Partner with operational teams to enhance profitability, productivity and working capital.
• Translate complex financial information into actionable business insights.
• Evolve the role from transaction processing toward analysis, business partnering and decision support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a similar finance manager or senior finance role.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for making solid, impact‑driving decisions.
• Ability to lead and develop a finance team.
• Excellent communication skills to influence and collaborate across functions.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of £60,000‑£70,000 per year.
• Permanent, full‑time position (Monday‑Friday, 9:00‑17:15).
