Finance Manager

About the role

Char.gy is a leading EV charge point provider in the UK. The Finance Manager will own financial operations, month‑end close, statutory reporting and tax compliance, reporting to the Head of Finance and leading a small team.

Key responsibilities

• Own and sign‑off the month‑end close process, ensuring accurate financials and continuous improvement.
• Lead the preparation of annual statutory accounts and manage the external audit end‑to‑end.
• Oversee purchase‑to‑pay, revenue ledger, VAT, CIS and other HMRC tax obligations.
• Develop and monitor internal controls, cash management and bank reconciliations.
• Provide financial analysis to support business performance and strategic projects.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with line‑management experience.
• Strong audit management experience, coordinating external audits.
• Technical knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance and internal controls.
• Experience improving or implementing finance systems in a fast‑growing environment.
