Finance Manager – Management Accounting & Business Partnering

About the role

We are partnering with a respected, commercially‑focused organisation to recruit a Finance Manager who will strengthen a growing finance function. The role blends technical reporting, financial control and proactive business partnering across a complex operational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the quality and delivery of monthly financial reporting and management accounts.
• Analyse performance, provide clear commentary on key movements and trends.
• Ensure accuracy of financial information to support decision‑making.
• Maintain balance‑sheet controls, reconciliations and overall financial governance.
• Drive process improvements and support the evolution of the finance function.
• Collaborate with operational stakeholders to understand performance and influence improvements.
• Support and develop a team of Management Accountants.

Required profile

• Proven experience in management accounting, financial reporting or a Finance Manager role.
• Confidence reviewing management accounts, analysing P&L performance and presenting financial commentary.
• Strong understanding of balance‑sheet controls and financial governance.
• Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to challenge and influence non‑finance teams.
• Experience improving processes and developing reporting frameworks.
