Financial Controller – Build Finance Function in High‑Growth Healthcare

About the role

Join a rapidly scaling healthcare infrastructure business as its first senior finance hire. You will work directly with the Managing Director to design and implement the finance function that will support a four‑fold revenue increase over the next 12 months.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of day‑to‑day finance operations, including supplier management and payment controls.
• Build scalable finance controls, reporting frameworks and cash‑visibility tools.
• Develop short‑term cash‑flow forecasts and lead month‑end close processes.
• Produce operational finance reports, margin analysis and management accounts.
• Drive process improvement, automation and finance system development.
• Manage accounts payable, supplier reconciliations, rebates and commercial terms.
• Establish stock and inventory control procedures.
• Partner with the Managing Director and leadership team to align finance with business growth.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.
• Proven experience building finance processes, controls or reporting in a high‑growth SME.
• Hands‑on approach with the ability to roll up sleeves while establishing foundations for scale.
• Strong analytical mindset and commercial awareness.
