Financial Crime Training Specialist – 6 Month Role

About the role
The Financial Crime Training Specialist will design and launch a brand‑new, role‑based training framework for Barclays employees in the UK. Over a six‑month fixed‑term contract, you will work closely with Relationship Managers, KYC Analysts and senior compliance stakeholders to ensure they understand and can act on their specific financial‑crime risks.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a mandatory, role‑based training programme from scratch.
- Conduct training needs assessments and map roles to required learning pathways.
- Create training assets such as presentation decks, e‑learning modules and interactive labs.
- Produce specialised content that teaches staff how to identify, manage and escalate financial‑crime incidents in their daily work.
- Measure training effectiveness using metrics like QA score improvements and pass‑rate trends.
Required profile
- Deep knowledge of financial‑crime and compliance regulations, including FCA, AML and emerging virtual‑asset rules.
- Proven experience in instructional design and the creation of training materials.
- Strong stakeholder‑engagement skills, able to negotiate with line managers and senior directors.
- Experience in governance, control design or policy writing is also acceptable.
