Financial Mis‑Selling Paralegal – Manchester

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Mis‑Selling Paralegal to join our new litigation team in Manchester. You will handle a high‑volume caseload of no‑win‑no‑fee claims, working closely with clients, financial institutions and legal counsel to secure compensation for mis‑sold financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Manage financial mis‑selling claims from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Draft correspondence, witness statements, letters of claim and court documents.
• Liaise with clients, banks, insurers, experts and counsel.
• Conduct due‑diligence, document reviews and factual investigations.
• Perform legal research and prepare court bundles for pre‑litigation and litigation stages.
• Maintain accurate records in the case management system and ensure compliance with SRA and FCA standards.

Required profile

• 12‑18 months experience handling financial mis‑selling, consumer litigation or civil claims.
• Strong understanding of financial mis‑selling regulations and claims processes.
• Excellent written communication, negotiation and client‑care abilities.
• Ability to work independently on a high‑volume caseload.
• Law degree (LLB) preferred; LPC/SQE desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Proclaim or similar case management system.
